Maidens Park Primary School Principal, Stuart Cumming is the recipient of a Churchill Fellowship to conduct an international study tour of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland looking at and experiencing first hand, outdoor education settings and learning programs. This Fellowship took place from May to July 2010. This Blog initially followed his UK travels, and now will highlight grounds development and activities at Maidens Park Primary School.

Ok, now I really am jealous, seeing pics of Isle of Skye. I have happy childhood memories of holidays there. Also wish I was there to climb those mountains - there's nothing like a mountain climb to take your breath away, and feel invigorated, inspired, energised, etc. And I like the sound of creating a wood or rainforest on school grounds.

I believe our Cumming relative last in Scotland before he Immigrated to Australia was from Portree on the Isle of Skye and before that Inverness shire!
